General order of granting dog titles in Belarus
All the dogs with pedigrees recognized by UPO BCU (Union of Public Organizations Belarusian Cynological Union) may receive titles.
«Junior Breed Champion» title (JBC)
Junior Breed Champion title is granted to:
- The junior class winners (male/female) that have received J.CAC at a Monobreed Championship.
- The dogs that have received two J.CAC certificates from two different judges at Monobreed Dog Shows or group breed shows.
«Junior Champion of Belarus» title (BEL JCH)
Junior Champion of Belarus title is granted to the dogs that meet one of the following conditions:
- Have three J.CAC certificates obtained from three different judges
- Have two J.CAC certificates obtained from two different judges
One of the J.CAC certificates should be received at an International Dog Show or а Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows)
- Have «Junior Breed Champion» certificate.
- Have one J.CAC certificate with the simultaneous presence of the «Junior Champion» diploma or certificate of the FCI member country as well as the USA (AKC), the UK (KC) and Canada (СКС)*
- Have two J.CAC certificates obtained from two different judges at the double CACIB.
«Breed Champion» title (B CH)
Breed Champion title is granted if any of the following requirements is fulfilled:
- The Best Male or the Best Female title from a Monobreed Championship.
- Two CAC certificates obtained from two different experts at Monobreed Dog Shows (including group breed shows).
- «Junior Breed Champion» certificate and one CAC obtained from two different experts at Monobreed Dog Shows (including group breed shows).
«Champion of Belarus» title (BEL CH)
Champion of Belarus title can be assigned to all breeds of dogs, except for the breeds specified in Appendices 1 and 2. In order to obtain the Champion of Belarus title one of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- Six CAC certificates obtained from four different judges.
- Four CAC certificates obtained from three different judges.
In this case, one of the CAC certificates must be obtained at an International Dog Show, at a Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows) or at the Republican Dog Show of hunting dogs organised by BSHF (Belarusian Organisation of Hunters and Fishers).
- Breed Champion (B CH) certificate and two САС obtained from two different judges.
- «Junior Champion of Belarus» (BEL JCH) or «Junior Breed Champion» (B JCH) certificate and four CAC certificates obtained from three different judges.
- «Junior Champion of Belarus» (BEL JCH) or «Junior Breed Champion» (B JCH) certificate and three CAC certificates obtained from three different judges.
In this case, one of the CAC certificates must be obtained at an International Dog Show or at Monobreed Dog Shows (including group breed shows)
- One CAC certificate and «National Champion» diploma or certificate.
The documents of the FCI member countries, the contract partner countries that have cooperation agreements with UPO BCU as well as the USA (AKC) and the UK (KC)* are taken into account.
- Two CAC certificates obtained from two different judges at the double CACIB.
Obtaining the «Champion of Belarus» title for the breeds which must perform working tests due to FCI rules and national rules (except for breeds listed in Appendices 1 and 2).
In addition to the basic requirements set out for «Champion of Belarus» title the following requirements may be taken into account:
- Four CAC certificates obtained from three different experts and a minimal degree diploma for working qualities.
- Three CAC certificates obtained from two different experts, if one of the CAC certificates was obtained at an International exhibition or a Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows) and a Working Dog diploma of the lowest level.
- «Breed Champion» (B CH) certificate and a Working Dog diploma of the lowest level.
- «Junior Champion of Belarus» (BEL JCH) certificate, two CAC obtained from two different experts and a Working Dog diploma of the lowest level.
- «Junior Champion of Belarus» (BEL JCH) certificate, one CAC obtained at an International Dog Show or a Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows) and a Working Dog diploma of the lowest level.
- Two CAC certificates obtained from two different experts and working diplomas of at least 1-1 degree and 1-3 degree or 2-2 degree for the main type of game for working alone for the dogs of hunting breeds.
* Only for foreign residents of member countries and contract partners of FCI that have cooperation agreements with UPO BCU, as well as for the citizens whose dogs are the Champions of the USA (AKC) or the UK (KC). For the German Shepherd the «Champion of Belarus» title is granted only if the breed has 1st class survey (Körung).
Notes:
Only the CAC certificates that were obtained at the Dog Shows held in Belarus under the authority of UPO BCU are taken into account. For the dogs of the following breeds: German Shepherd Dog, Caucasian Shepherd Dog, Central Asian Shepherd Dog, South Russian Shepherd Dog, Black Russian Terrier, Moscow Watchdog, there are regulations for granting titles that are approved by the Republican Breed Commissions (Appendix 1 and 2).

Appendix 1 to Regulation on granting the «Champion of Belarus» title
The German Shepherd Dog must satisfy the following conditions:
- Have breed survey and two CAC certificates provided that one of these certificates was obtained at an International or a specialized Dog Shows.
- Have breed survey and four CAC certificates obtained from three different experts at a Dog Show of any rank.
Appendix 1 to Regulation on granting the «Champion of Belarus» title
For the dogs of the following breeds: Caucasian Shepherd Dog, Central Asian Shepherd Dog, South Russian Shepherd Dog, Black Russian Terrier, Moscow Watchdog the title «Champion of Belarus» is granted if they:
- Have the mandatory positive testing or working diploma on any service recognized by UPO BCU and four CAC obtained from three different experts.
- Have mandatory positive testing or working diploma on any service recognized by UPO BCU and two CAC obtained from two different experts. In such case one CAC must be obtained at an International exhibition or a Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows).
For the dogs, working in the government and non-government licensed security organizations a document certified by the head of the company (who can confirm this certification) may be used instead of the KC diploma.
«Grand Champion of Belarus» (BEL GRCH) (for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus)
In order to obtain the «Grand Champion of Belarus» title one must fulfill the conditions of granting the «Champion of Belarus» title three times on any of the above mentioned options.
* Note: The «Grand Champion of Belarus» title is issued only upon availability of the issued «Champion of Belarus» certificate.
«Grand Champion of Belarus» (BEL GRCH) (for foreigners)
The granting of «Grand Champion of Belarus» title for foreign citizens is possible:
- On the usual terms provided for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus.
- In the presence of the certificate of the Champion of one’s country and two CAC from International Dog Shows.
- In the presence of the certificate of the Champion of one’s country and three CAC from any shows.
- In the presence of the certificate of the Grand Champion of one’s country and one CAC from an International Dog Show or two CAC from any shows.
* Note: The «Grand Champion of Belarus» title is issued only upon availability of the issued «Champion of Belarus» certificate.
«Junior Grand Champion of Belarus» (BEL JGRCH) (for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus)
In order to obtain the «Junior Grand Champion of Belarus» title one must
- Have the issued «Junior Champion of Belarus» certificate and fulfill the conditions for granting of «Junior Champion of Belarus» title twice on any of the abovementioned options provided that one of the J.CAC titles must be obtained at an International Dog Show or at Monobreed Dog Shows (including group breed shows).
«Junior Grand Champion of Belarus» (BEL JGRCH) (for foreigners)
The granting of «Junior Grand Champion of Belarus» title for foreign citizens is possible on the usual terms or upon fulfillment of the following conditions:
- In the presence of the issued «Junior Champion of Belarus» certificate, «Junior Champion» certificate of one’s country and two J.CAC from exhibitions of any rank.
- In the presence of the issued «Junior Champion of Belarus» certificate, «Junior Champion» certificate of one’s country and one J.CAC from an International exhibition or a Monobreed Dog Show (including group breed shows).
Please note!!!
In case of the execution of any title (B JCH, JBC, BEL JGRCH, BEL CH, B CH, BEL GRCH) the J.CAC and CAC certificates are cancelled and will not be taken into account for the subsequent titles execution.
