Lure Coursing – the sport for quick and agile
Lure coursing is a Sighthound competition during which an electrical lure is moving along a complicated trajectory, imitating chasing of a live prey. In lure coursing competition participate dogs of the FCI group X and some breeds from the FCI group V.
In Kaliningrad (Russia), the lure coursing section in terms of the regional kennel club exists for more than 8 years. During these years there were organized different competitions: from regional to international.
On 24 March 2016 in Kaliningrad took place the qualifying lure coursing competition for various breeds: Whippets, Borzois, Greyhounds and Taigans. All participated dogs were qualified.
