WDS 2015 in Milano - results and statistics

Last week in Milano (Italy) took place the World Dog Show 2015. Here are links for the results of this show:


This year for the World Dog Show registered 19 926 dogs, and for Club Shows - 9 515 dogs, from 68 countries. Most breeds were from Italy - 8 142 dogs, second place had France with 1 647 participating dogs and 3d was Russia - 1 465.

And here is the statistics of participants by groups:

In total 392 breeds were presented in the World Dog Show and the top 10 by numbers were:

2. Golden Retriever – 389

5. French Bulldog, bringé – 293
6. Jack Russell Terrier – 291
7. Siberian Husky – 276
8. English Bulldog – 265
9. Akita Inu – 247
10. Dogo Argentino – 241

The organizers of the show presented us a statistic of CACIB obtained by countries on during all 4 days of the WDS 2015 in Milano:

In Final Best in Show participated, of course 10 dogs each one representing an FCI group. Three participants were from Italy: the Dachshund standard wire-haired (FCI group IV); the Gordon Setter (FCI group VII) and the Piccolo Levriero Italiano (FCI group X)
