To sum up: best dogs of 2014

Year 2014 past by and for some dog owners it was more successful than for the others. Yes, you are right, we are talking about those whose dogs took first places in the Best in Show. Let's have a look once again at best dogs according to the judges of the biggest Dog Shows of this year.

The year began with Westminster Kennel Club 138th Annual Dog Show that took place in New York (USA) in February. The best of the best of this show won the Wire Fox Terrier GCH Afterall Painting The Sky.

In March the Star of the Crufts Show 2014 (England) became the Standard Poodle from England Afterglow Maverick Sabre (known as Ricky).

Also in March in Moscow (Russia) took place International Dog Show «Eurasia - 2014». The winner of the show became the French Bulldog from Russia A'Vigdors Ramasseur des Compliments.

This year the host of the World Dog Show was Helsinki (Finland). First place in Best in Show of one of the most important dog events got on 10th August the Affenpinscher from Indonesia Tricky Ricky From Yarrow-Hi Tech.

In the end of August happened another big Dog Show 89 International Dog Show in Luxembourg. The Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen from Holland Caramel Apple van Tum-Tum's Vriendjes carried off the palm on this Show.

In October in Brno (Czech Republic) took place European Dog Show. The winner of the Show was the Wire Fox Terrier from Belgium King Arthur van Foliny Home.

The end of the year was marked in December by a Dog Show in Amsterdam (Netherlands). On this show (shows, actually) there were two biggest nominations - Amsterdam Winner and Eukanuba Winner.

The winner of the Eukanuba World Challenge 2014 became the star of the WDS 2014 - the Affenpinscher from Indonesia Tricky Ricky From Yarrow-Hi Tech.

The title of the Amsterdam Winner got the Saluki from Sweden Qirmizi Ovation.

For Russian Dog owners in December was another important event - «Golden Collar 2014». The judges chose the Tibetan Mastiff from Russia - Grand Lioness Ju Akbar - to be the best dog of this Show.
