The FCI World Dog Show in Helsinki can be a biggest event in the dog world 2014 The FCI World Dog Show will open its gates for all pet amateurs around the World from 8 to 11 August 2014 in Helsinki, Finland. The present contest is dedicated to Finnish Kennel Club's 125th anniversary.

In the period of the lowest entry price, until 5th Mai 2014, already 12 thousand dogs have been registered.

On the last day, Monday 5th Mai, the on-line registration server was loaded in the busiest moments about 600 dogs per hour, but system has worked successfully. Totally, that day, 4000 dogs were registered.

According to the Kari Järvinen, the chairman of the World Dog Show committee, Finland is the one of the biggest kennel countries worldwide. Annually 200 thousand dogs all over the world become participants of Finnish Dog Shows and competitions. It’s a great opportunity to show for Finland to show its experience.

In 1998 the World Dog Show has already been in Helsinki. In it took part 16,000 dogs from all over the world. For the honour to be a host of the World Dog Show annually compete 87 countries.
